Use this resource to help your students practice adjectives. I've used this activity with 7th and 10th graders and both grades really enjoyed it!
How I use this resource:
-Every student needs something to write with and on. Begin by showing the slide of the puppy. Students write down 3 adjectives to describe the puppy (not cute! that's too easy!) and then share out with the class.
-Continue this pattern through slide three of the old man (oo can't use the adjective old to describe- too easy!). After coming up with 3 adjectives for the old man I have students write 1 sentence that includes all 3 adjectives.
-I then skip to slide 7. I time students for about 3ish minutes and they have to write about the picture packing in as many adjectives as possible.
-I then skip to slide 11 and we do the same with the soldier.
If time allows go back and do some of the other pictures, or pick the pictures you think your students will best respond to!
