Adjective I Have, Who Has- Whole Class Activity; pass out all the cards. Start with one students, have them read their card; the person with the answer to the card that was just read will read their card next; continue until all cards have been read-- kids really like if you time them and they can see if they can beat their best time!
Happy Hippo Adjectives: Students try to find an adjective that begins with each letter of the alphabet to describe the hippo at the top of the page.
Article Sort Activity: Students cut out the words at the bottom; they then paste each word in the correct section depending on whether it is proper to place a or an before each word.
Adjective/Article Slapjack: Partner game; Split the cards evenly; One at a time flip over a card-- if it is an adjective or an article, the first one to slap it gets to keep the cards in the middle; if it is not an adjective/article, then leave the card in the middle; if someone slaps a card that is not an adjective/article-- they must put all their cards back in the middle
Comparing With Adjectives: Cut out the sentences at the bottom; students paste them into the correct section depending on whether they should finish the incomplete word with an -er ending or an -est ending.
