Pocket Full of Adjectives (fox theme)
This is a printable interactive grammar activity. Students can create a list of adjectives for a fox and write a sentence for each.
They will also write a definition for adjectives under a flap.
Students start by making a fox 'pocket pouch' for their notebook.
They then cut or write/cut (both options provided) word cards and put them in the pocket pouch.
Using the facing page of their notebook, they can take a word card from their pocket, and use it to guide a sentence. Students will write 6 sentences that feature adjectives.
I have also included a 'blank' version of the fox pocket, so that you can develop your own interactive lessons (not spelling based necessarily) and add your own content and focus for your students.
This activity will help make your review of adjectives, so much fun for students! It works nicely with a reading of Fantastic Mr Fox.
