Description

This packet includes 7 worksheets and 1 assessment that focus on the identification of adjectives in sentences. Each printable contains 6-15 sentences. On each worksheet, students must identify the adverb(s) in the sentences.

Worksheet 1- Adjectives tell WHAT KIND: Students must circle the adjective, and draw a line to the noun being modified.

Worksheet 2- Adjectives tell WHICH ONE and HOW MANY: Students must circle the adjective, and draw a line to the noun being modified.

Worksheet 3- Adjectives Answer Three Questions: Students must circle the adjective, and draw a line to the noun being modified. They must also list which of the 3 questions is being answered by the adverb. (What kind? Which one? How many?)

Worksheets 4 and 5- Adjectives Can Be Placed AFTER Nouns: On Worksheet #4, students must rewrite each sentence so that the adjective follows the noun. On Worksheet #5, students must circle the adjective, and draw a line to the noun being modified.

Worksheets 6 and 7- Adjectives Can Modify PRONOUNS: On Worksheet #6, students must rewrite each sentence so that a pronoun replaces the noun. On Worksheet #5, students must circle the adjective, and draw a line to the noun or pronoun being modified.

Assessment- Identifying Adjectives: Students must circle the adjective(s) in each sentence, and draw an arrow to the noun(s) or pronoun(s) being modified.
