This game contains 28 cards related exclusively to adjectives and adverbs. This is a great activity if you are looking for an opportunity to engage your entire class!
The cards are written so that students have to truly listen carefully and use what they know about the differences between adjectives and adverbs to determine when it's their turn to speak.
For example, one card reads:
Who has the adverb in the following sentence: "The kids laughed wildly at the silly joke."
Another card reads:
Who has the adjective in the following sentence: "The kids laughed wildly at the silly joke."
These cards always take a few extra minutes to get through the first time. I always time my students, and then let them go through them a second and possibly third time to try to beat their record!
An answer key is included for teacher use to follow along. A direction page is also provided.
