Using visuals is one of the best ways to prompt your students to use comparatives in Spanish. In this activity, your students will take turns describing pictures to the best of their ability, and each picture was carefully selected so that at least one comparative is appropriate. Also included is an informal "talking" rubric, so you can either assess your students or they can assess themselves. The page also includes an ACTFL "can-do" check point, so that you and your students can track their progress with the national standards for world languages. A great classroom activity or quick speaking assessment!
