Product Description
Students brainstorm descriptive words/adj. about bugs (number words, color words, describing words like long, skinny, bumpy...)
in the chart.

Next I asked students to circle one word from each column.
They would use these to write a sentence about their bug(s)

Ex. three, long, purple
My sentence might be:
I see three, long, purple bugs!

Finally students can draw the bug(s) they wrote about.

I used this activity for a writing extension during a guided reading story about bugs.
