This powerpoint is designed for senior students who wish to become stronger writers. Students who become familiar with and use these strategies are encouraged to move towards greater independence when it comes to drafting. It encourages them to become more responsible for polishing their work.
There are five strategies outlined which are useful once students have completed an initial draft:
- Keeping a "To Do" List;
- Resting Your Writing;
- Listening for Errors;
- Reading Structurally; and
- Reading Finely.
This resource details the benefits of each strategy.
