This is a set of four worksheets that give students a chance to drill identifying ledger line notes that are fairly difficult. These will use ledger lines up to one octave away from the staff. Two of the worksheets use only one clef (one for treble and one for bass clef). The other two worksheets are using both to further develop students mastery of both clefs.
I always try to start each worksheet out with a "groaner" pun. These worksheets are no different, and are based upon the notes being above or below the staff. They are entitled: "Climbing Higher and Higher" "Descending to the Depths" "Ledger Lines" and "More Ledger Lines"
I try to make several worksheets on the same topic; that way you can easily differentiate your assessment for advanced students as well as special education students (some may only have to do two worksheets, where more advanced students may have to do all four). To further differentiate, you may consider downloading my "Easy Ledger Lines" worksheets which include ledger lines only a note or two above or below the staff.
