#DistanceLearning Much research--often referred to as the "Science of Reading"--indicates that children learn best from direct, explicit, systematic phonics instruction. These 24 videos will teach children to find patterns in the English language. They'll study rules, exceptions, multisyllabic words, comparative spellings, and more. I've included details about each song's teaching objectives below. You can see a FREE video if you click on the "Video Preview." Note that I include all parts of various topics in songs. I recommend playing songs and then focusing lessons on one aspect of a topic at a time. For instance, children learn about five types of plurals in "Plurals, Plurals, Plurals, Plurals." Start your lesson with a fun song, and then focus on one type per day. In this way, all students will review previous learning, be prepared for the day's focus, and have the opportunity to preview future objectives.

*This program is a sequel to Early Reading and Phonics Time. Please click on these titles if you are interested in a simpler phonics program.

**This set matches my Advanced Phonics music-book set, available HERE. You can get song-only versions, along with a detailed lyric & instructional guide. If you want to have a better understanding of advanced phonics concepts and practical ways to teach them, this book is for you!
