Description

Practice multiplication with this fun and engaging advent calendar game for interactive whiteboards and iPads. Students can play individually or you can involve the whole classroom with by going head to head with two teams.

Students are asked multiplication questions at the bottom of the screen and find the correct answer on the advent calendar. If correct, the advent calendar door will open to reveal a prize. When playing against yourself, you will try and beat your time. When playing against another team, whoever opens all the advent calendar first wins.

1 or 2 Player
This game can be played by students individually, in 2 player or 2 teams mode by involving the whole class.

Self Correcting
Students will know right away if they have chosen the correct answer. If correct, the advent calendar door will open to reveal a prize

Technical details
This game is designed to be projected onto your SMARTBoard, Promethian, Mimio or Interactive Whiteboard. It is also a perfect game to set up on a computer workstation for students to play independently or in small groups or on their iPads. The iPads need to have the latest version of Safari installed in order for it to display correctly.

How to Play
Whole Class Cooperation - The class is divided into two teams. Each team lines up in front of their advent calendar. The winning team is the one which has opened all its doors first.

Small group or single player – Played on a single computer or iPad
Start the game on a computer and allow the student(s) to play for a certain length of time. If you want to create a competition between students, record their scores on a piece of paper or blackboard and see who can finish their advent calendar the fastest.
