Use these pages to get your students reading and analyzing one of their favorite genres: adventure! Since this is an overlapping, sometimes over-arching genre, these printables can also be used with other genres that can sometimes be adventurous such as mysteries, realistic-fiction, and sci-fi. Designed for multiple-uses, multi-use.
Students will read ANY adventure story of ANY length and at ANY reading level. They will then analyze essentials such as point of view and author's purpose and literary elements such as character/setting/conflict/resolution/theme. Students will also note the adventurous features of their book by filling in charts and making check marks which cause reflection. All answers will be supported with text evidence such as quotes and examples.
Flexible use options:
-use with shorter and/or longer texts
