Adverbs can be tricky! This packet contains some extra practice that will allow your students to identify adverbs in sentence. It contains an engaging craftivity and a worksheet. It also contains a teaching poster that tells students the ways in which an adverb can modify a verb, adjective, or another adverb (when, where, how, how much, and how often).
To complete the craftivity, students will complete a worksheet where they practice two skills:
1. First, they identify the adverbs in the sentence by underlining them.
2. Then they determine what word the adverb modifies, and HOW it modifies that word.
Finally, they use the words on the worksheet as they assemble the craftivity.
Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. (Answer keys is also included.)
