Adverbs Slide Presentation

Adverbs Slide Presentation includes the PowerPoint and an Easel version which provide an overview, or a good review, of types of adverbs and of using adverbs that students in middle school and upper elementary grades need to understand.

The presentation provides a clear explanation of each concept with text and graphics designed for middle school and upper elementary students. Here are the topics that are addressed in the presentation:

* Adverbs that tell how, when, where, and to what extent

* Relative adverbs

* Interrogative adverbs

* Forming -ly adverbs

* Using adverbs in writing

Slides with review and practice questions for students to respond to are included to increase student engagement. The answers for each of these slides are provided on the slide immediately following.

The Easel Activity is ready to assign with answer boxes and directions already in place for student use. Answer slides have been removed from the Easel version.

Also included with the presentation is a student note sheet for the students to complete while they view the slides. A completed version of the note sheet is also provided for students who might need that option.

This Adverbs Slide Presentation supports Common Core Standards for both language and writing.
