Description

Adverbs - Task Cards for practicing Common Core grammar standards in both print and Easel versions. Included in this set of 30 cards are these topics:

* Adverbs that tell how, when, where, and to what extent

* Relative adverbs

* Interrogative adverbs

* Forming -ly adverbs

* Using adverbs in writing

The cards have a variety of activities including:

•Identify the adverbs

•Identify the words they modify

•Choose the adverbs

•Sort adverbs

•Write with adverbs

•Revise using adverbs

•Define adverbs

These task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids. The printable cards are large, two cards per page, and have plenty of content – perfect for older kids who can handle more than one quick question per card. Task cards are great for differentiating with individual or group work and for review activities, class games like Scoot or Footloose, and quick assessments.

Included with the task cards are blank answer sheets for students' use, a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards, and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation with task cards.

Also included with this set is a big list of various types of adverbs, including a whole page of -ly adverbs - a handy tool for planning your own adverb activities.

The Easel Version, with one card per slide, is ready to assign with answer boxes and directions already in place for student use. The answer key has been removed from the Easel version as well.

These Adverbs Task Cards support Common Core Standards for language and writing.

For the Google slides version, see Adverbs Task Cards and Google Slides.

You can find more grammar task cards, along with related teaching materials such as slide presentations and activity sheets, in my store as well.
