Description

Adverbs - Task Cards for practicing Common Core grammar standards in a Google Slides version. Both the digital resource and a printable PDF version are included in this activity.

Included in this set of 30 cards are these topics:

* Adverbs that tell how, when, where, and to what extent

* Relative adverbs

* Interrogative adverbs

* Forming -ly adverbs

* Using adverbs in writing

The cards have a variety of activities including:

• Identify the adverbs

• Identify the words they modify

• Choose the adverbs

• Sort adverbs

• Write with adverbs

• Revise using adverbs

• Define adverbs

The printable version has two large cards per page. Blank answer sheets for students to use, a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards, and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation are included with the printable cards. The answer key will also be found in the PDF.

Also included with this set is a big list of various types of adverbs, including a whole page of -ly adverbs - a handy tool for planning even more adverb activities.

The Google slides version has one card per slide and is ready for student use with directions and text boxes for their answers. The answer key has already been removed from this version.

These task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids with plenty of content per card.

Task cards are great for differentiating individual or group work and for review activities, classroom games, and quick assessments.

These Adverbs Task Cards support Common Core Standards for language and writing.

The text in this resource is not editable.

For the Easel version, see Adverbs Task Cards Print and Easel Versions.
