Both the slide presentation and the task cards address these topics:

- Relative adverbs
- Interrogative adverbs
- Forming -ly adverbs
- Using adverbs in writing
The set of 30 Task Cards comes with both a print and a digital version and has a variety of activities such as:
- Identify the adverbs
- Identify the words they modify
- Choose the adverbs
- Sort adverbs
- Write with adverbs
- Revise using adverbs
- Define adverbs
The task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids. The printable cards are large, two cards per page, and have plenty of content. These cards have lots of uses from differentiating with individual or group work to review activities, class games, and quick assessments.
Included with the task cards are blank answer sheets for students' use, a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards, and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation with task cards.
Also included with this set is a big list of various types of adverbs, including a whole page of -ly adverbs - a handy tool for planning your own adverb activities.
The Slide Presentation includes both the PowerPoint and a digital version. The presentation provides a clear explanation of each concept with text and graphics designed for middle school and upper elementary students.
Slides with review and practice questions for students to respond to are included to increase student engagement. The answers for each of these slides are provided on the slide immediately following.
Also included with the presentation is a student note sheet for the students to complete while they view the slides. A completed version of the note sheet is also provided for students who might need that option.
The digital Easel Activities for both resources are ready to assign with answer boxes and directions already in place for student use. Answer keys and answer slides have been removed from the Easel versions.
These adverbs slide presentation and the task cards support Common Core Standards for both language and writing.
