The following two-sided, seventeen question-multiple choice worksheet contains sentences like ones students will see on the writing sections on the ReadiStep, PSAT, SAT, and other standardized tests. Modeled after the Identifying Sentence Error problems on the SAT, this worksheet groups together sentences specifically on how a student's knowledge of adverbs will be assessed. Typically, students have to know when it is more appropriate to use an adjective or an adverb and when an adverb confuses the meaning of a sentence and needs to be deleted. This worksheet is a great way to prep students for any standardized test, but it also is just a great way to prove why a student's knowledge of parts of speech is beneficial. This worksheet is designed for high school students, but it can also be used in an honors middle school classroom.
