The ‘Read and Write Adverbs’ word game a fun way for students to practice their Adverbs. Students can independently ‘Read and Write the room’. Place the cards around the classroom and provide your students with a clipboard and a recording sheet. There are 2 levels to choose from to differentiate the lesson. Students then walk around searching for the different types of adverbs to sort them into the correct type. They love the idea of playing detectives.
This is perfect to use in your guided reading program. My students love the chance of using the clipboards and they can work independently or together to find and record their answers.
This set includes 8 different Verbs and 3 Adverbs for each one. There is a second set of pictures without the pictures to make it more difficult. So this is another way of differentiating the curriculum.
Students can also practice their Verbs and Adverbs by playing match and memory games, simply print two cards of each.
This set is also part of a bundle, which includes the following sets:
Link-Nouns and Verbs
Verbs and Adverbs
If you want to buy the bundle you get 1 free.
