This is a 2 page lesson plan and a 3 page handout for students (and you can print it and use it as your overhead).
The lesson plan itself is incredibly detailed. It even includes the expected responses to the do-now question. Also, the lesson plan includes modifications if you are teaching in a classroom with special needs.
The handout is a student friendly version of the lesson plan. It includes the aim, the do-now, a little organizer and space for the do-now response, the key points from the mini-lesson (including the definition of self-esteem etc), the pivotal questions for the day that get them thinking about self-esteem (both healthy and unhealthy), the instructions and graphic organizers for the activity, and even the summation.
This lesson is all about self-esteem. Some students, some time, and this lesson are all that you need in order to have a successful result.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this lesson!
