These review stations are designed to accompany chapter 7 of Prentice Hall Biology, but they should be compatible with any biology curriculum. Topics covered include aerobic and anaerobic respiration; mitochondrial structure; glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and electron transport chain; types of energy; heterotrophs, autotrophs, producers, and consumers; and ATP.
The file includes everything you need for 6 review stations. Each station should take 5-6 minutes for students to complete. Includes a student handout, manipulative cards, and diagrams and questions for all stations.
I use this to review a day or 2 before the test. Stations include: dominoes for students to order the steps of aerobic respiration; a vocabulary puzzle; a concept map of aerobic and anaerobic respiration; a Venn diagram comparing aerobic and anaerobic respiration; a diaram of a mitochondria with interpretation questions; and identifying events in the stages of respiration.
