This Africa Map Project is truly spectacular! There are two projects that work together or can work each on their own.
Both projects allow students to read and interpret data in a meaningful, fun way! Students create maps, graphs, write essays, and make critical decisions throughout the course of these projects.
This package includes:
-A teacher's guide
-Data collection directions (for CIA World Factbook)
-An outline Africa Map (one for printing out and one for digital use, each country can be colored individually)
-An completed map as an example (though the data is constantly changing so this may not be perfectly up to date, though the concept is illustrated with the example)
-A guide to creating climagraphs (step by step from data collection to graph creation)
-Four worksheets to help students organize their data and helps students to interpret data as well
-A one page Essay Guide to assist students in writing the final essay (designed to be a five paragraph essay)
These projects are well tested and well polished. All of the handouts and information needed for students to be successful with both of the projects are provided. This project is not only a lot of fun but also a great tool for getting students to begin to understand analyzing data!
