This is an interpersonal activity where students ask other students about their activities during the break, and respond in a variety of ways, including with followup questions, reporting information, and creating a venn diagram. All parts of the activity use the preterite as the base grammar practice, and contains the irregulars IR and VER.
Students first mingle about the room, asking students questions from prompts in the infinitive, and using followup questions to find out more information.
Then, students work with a partner to ask and respond to questions about the break.
From this information, students create a Venn diagram in the preterite, showing individual and common activities.

This is a great activity to get kids back into the swing of speaking Spanish and using the preterite. It includes oral and written practice in all forms (yo, tu, el, etc) except for ellos/ellas/Uds. The kids enjoy the interactive nature of the activity.
Best used for Spanish 2,3,4, and I use it with Realidades 2 2b and 3a
