In this role-playing game, students will take the role of an explorer during the Age of Exploration. Choosing from three empires with different capabilities, they will plan their expedition in search of riches in either the New World or India. Once arriving, they will be faced with the task of extracting as much wealth as possible. Poor decisions can quickly lead to failure of the expedition. I've tried to make expedition routes, the consequences, and the competing empires as historically accurate as possible while making sure the game is competitively balanced.
Included in the file will be the instruction sheet to introduce the game to the students (shown in preview), the navigation map for students to plan the voyage, the log chart for students to track their progress, the decision values for each location, and a brief guide for the instructor.
I take pride in creating in-depth games that are not only enjoyable, but also that serve to educate students about key historical content. I always appreciate feedback and new ideas.
