Product Description
This is an assessment developed for a college in high school literature and composition course at the 11th grade level. Students will need to have studied the Age of Reason in American Literature, and have read excerpts from “Common Sense”, “The Declaration of Independence”, “A Mighty Pen: Franklin’s Caustic Wit”, “Speech in the Virginia Convention”, and the outlier---”Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. Instruction on rhetorical strategies is also essential for using this assessment.
