This is a logic puzzle that gives names and ages of six people and asks students to determine the age of each person. Good as a bellringer activity, part of an emergency lesson plan when you have to be out unexpectedly, as a puzzle for your students that finish an assessment before other students, or even for those last twenty minutes before the bell.
This logic puzzle is a part of a larger packet I offer with seven different puzzles in all. Priced at $3.49, it is a significant savings compared to buying each puzzle separately. You can find this packet here: Logic and Critical Thinking Puzzle Packet
This is a fairly simple logic puzzle, it uses only "greater than" and "less than" type clues, so it could be accessible to 5th graders and still appropriate for 8th graders - just expect the 8th graders to finish much more quickly.
I have included two page styles - 1 is " 2 up" to save paper, and the other has blank space at the bottom for students to show their thinking.
Answer key is provided.
