Do you need a complete lesson that covers the extraordinary acts of aggression of world dictators prior to World War II? Are you looking for an engaging and fun activity that gives your students the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of dictators like Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini and play "Risk" using maps of Asia, Africa, and Europe? This bundle has it all!
This "Aggression Before World War II" Bundle includes:
1) A customizable lecture that you can adjust to meet your needs and the needs of
your students. This bundle includes a version of this lecture in Keynote (Mac),
Powerpoint (PC), and PDF format for users of every operating system.
2) Three detailed maps that ask your students to color the territories that these
aggressor nations took before the war. When completed, your students will see a
stunning colored map of the path of destruction taken before the war. Students will use different colors based on the provided timeline to show the path taken.
Students will then be asked a series of questions that probe their knowledge about
why these dictators did what they did. One of the central ideas of the activity
centers around the failed Treaty of Versailles and the weak League of Nations that
allow this aggression to occur.
This activity can be used in many different ways in the classroom. Students can
work independently, in pairs or this activity can be used as a jigsaw in order to
facilitate a class wide discussion about the topics discussed in the activity.
3) A detailed answer key to the lesson activity to save you time and help guide student comprehension.
