These are square cards you can attach to students' desks in a blue and green polka dot design to help with partnering and grouping students. On each square, there is a number, a letter, face partner, and shoulder partner. With these, you can change up partners and groups by asking students to work with their:
-A's with A's and B's with B's
-All the 1's in the room, all the 2's in the room, etc.
You can also use it for partnering and grouping students in a cooperative learning environment and with Kagen Strategies like Numbered Heads Together.
In my classroom, I printed, laminated, and cut out each square. Then, I taped a square in the upper right corner of each desk in the team (So #1 and #2 are sitting beside each other and #3 and #4 are sitting opposite of them. Packing tape works great for this). It helps me change up who students are working with as well as prevents confusion of students forgetting or not know what number/letter/group they are assigned to!
