PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson teaches students how it can be that advantageous mutations, although they arise only by chance, quickly spread through a population once they exist. This can help students understand why positive mutations seem to “appear” just when they are needed. The lesson centers around an online activity wherein randomly mutating fictitious creatures must compete to eat and survive.

Zip file contains: 1.Powerpoint 2.PDF, to guarantee formatting and for easy printing, 3.Word document, to make it easier to edit.
Document is a conglomeration of my original material and material from other sources. The fabulous online activity is not mine, but the questions and worksheet going along with it are. Price reflects this. I have made a good-faith effort to include everything non-original in the free preview download.
