Students will build their math, science, and literacy skills while sorting pictures of living and non-living things into an air, land, and water table.
This activity can be carried out in two ways. One way: you can give the students the three "cut-outs" pages so they can cut out the pictures and choose which ones they would like to glue onto their tables. Second way: you can challenge the students by cutting the pictures yourself, mixing them together, and giving them to the students in piles.
Either way, you will need scissors, glue, and access to a copier in order to make copies of the table and cut-outs.
*Each column in the table can accommodate up to 6, maybe 7, pictures. If students would like to use all of the pictures, feel free to give them another table!
