This is a quick activity that you can do before or after teaching air masses. Students match the appropriate air mass with its description.

How I use them: I laminate and cut out a few and paper clip each set together. I have students work in groups in order to try to match them up before even teaching air masses. This familiarizes students with the vocabulary and what each word means. They should have an idea that polar is “cold”, tropical is “warm”, etc.
