Air Pressure Magic School Bus "Goes On Air" Video Response Worksheet
This student friendly Magic School Bus video lesson teaches students about air pressure. Scholastic’s summary of the episode states:
“We got assigned air, and it’s not fair! The only contribution the kids in Ms. Frizzle’s class have to give the Walkerville Space Capsule is an empty jar. "It’s not empty," argues Keesha. "It’s filled with...air!" "But air doesn’t do anything!" wails Ralphie. They discover the "air-ror" of their ways when they shrink and get stuck inside the jar -and all they find inside the "How-to-Get-Out-of-a-Pickle-Jar-When-You’re-the-Size-of-a-Snail Escape Kit" is...air!”
I pass out the response form to my students before they view the episode about air pressure. Many students prefer to fill in the information as they watch the video.
The video response form is one page in length and contains five items about air pressure. I try to focus on the most important science concepts presented in the episode. A full answer key is provided.
