Description

Explore air and weather with your class. This unit teaches students how the air and weather change, and why they change. It includes reading, writing, and coloring activities designed to engage your students. This unit is a great way to integrate science with reading and writing.

This unit can be used by itself, or become a great addition to an existing curriculum. This unit may be used with FOSS' Air and Weather Unit, or by itself.

I have updated this unit with access to a Google Slides version for your students to use through distance learning. You may also use TPT's Digital Activity option to load this directly into your Google Classroom.

This unit covers:

Air and weather (how and why they change)

Temperature

Different types of clouds (cirrus, stratus, and cumulus)

A cloud art activity (and links to assist with the project)

The seasons

Types of weather patterns

Reading and writing activities
