In this adventure Akimbo accompanies his father on a mission to trap a lion that has been eating the cattle of a farmer who lives nearby. When the trap accidentally catches a cub, Akimbo decides to care for the baby lion. But what will happen when the adorable cub becomes a ferocious adult? The worksheet requires the student to engage the plot for specific details, practices vocabulary, and asks the student to make personal connections with the main characters through open-ended and comprehension questions. The worksheet also reviews nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and homophones.
