Aladdin (G - 1992) is a classic movie that can help your students understand the importance of being yourself. Aladdin struggles with his decision to finally tell the truth about who he really is to Princess Jasmine. Challenge students to learn a life lesson from Aladdin. This can also make a great substitute no-prep lesson since it is rated G.
An answer key is not included as many questions are open-ended and encourage students to analyze the film. Many answers will not fit into a 'box'. Students are encouraged to construct their own meaning from the characters' dialogue and behavior.
