Description
Use this collaborative poster set with your class to kick off learning about Alberta's geographical regions. This set comes with 7 posters and follow-up activities. Each colouring activity takes your students 10-30 minutes and just requires printing for you to use right away. It's a great activity to use to calm the mood or leave with a substitute teacher.
This cooperative activity includes:
- directions to run the activity with your students, starting with an overview of the six regions and following up with the six individual regions.
- each set has 18, 24 or 36 pieces, so you can use them with any size class.
- simple instructions for your students so they know how their piece fits into each poster.
- pieces with different levels of detail so you can give the right piece to each student.
- assembly instructions, along with tips for making the process as easy as possible.
- follow-up activities for each region.
- a one-page colouring page for each region.
- finished poster sizes of approximately 46 cm x 70 cm (18” x 27”) or standard vertical poster size.
