First, test your students alcohol IQ. Have your students fill out a twelve question true or false sheet related to alcohol and its effects on the body.
Break students up into seven different groups. Each group will be assigned a part of the brain and given posters an markers. Students will create a poster depicting the effects of alcohol from the sheet provided to them.
After the posters are complete, hang them up within the classroom and have the students perform a gallery walk using the sheet provided.
Students will gain a better understanding of all the negative effects alcohol has on the brain! The alcohol IQ questions correlate to the worksheet too!
