I've created this highly flexible unit to give you value as well as save you time by including several different formats (at no extra cost to you) and a choose how you use it feature. You'll find teachers notes for each activity with ideas for differentiation and extension and for using the resources whole group, in small reading or intervention groups, and independently with the included student direction cards in literacy centers. I've also included additional templates so that you can include any of the activities in the story booklet. All activities include 2 versions of handwriting lines.
This book, and its illustrations, also lends itself so well to discussing and writing about how to respond to sibling conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings.
