In this activity, students from grades 3 to 5 practice their listening skills and apply their understanding of the story to Common Core comprehension questions. Included are multiple- choice, short-answer and some extended response items.
Usually, I read and enjoy the book with my class, either projecting it or gathering my little people close together. We discuss as we go and students often want to say some of the repeating lines with me. So fun!
