These slides are versatile. They can be used for review, as a test, or to facilitate classroom discussion. It may also serve as a useful model for a student project on a different film topic.
YOUR PREVIEW IS 12 ACTUAL SLIDES.
~page 1 is the title page with a film poster, the cast members and the writers, both screenplay and the original source, if any. Most of these earlier films were derived from other original sources, such as novels or plays, and were not developed only as a screenplay.
~pages 2-5 are the Q & A. One page poses a question and the next page answers it, providing a set of 4 for each film.
~page 6 is an assemblage or collage of key stills from that film into one big comprehensive image. I've tried to visually capture the essence of each film with each assemblage. I am an artist so this was the most fun part of the project for me.
~page 7 is key dialog from the film.
All 25 films have these 7 pages.
Except for the dialogue page, all slides are filled with visuals from the films. Some of these are the hand colored photos that were done as posters and lobby cards of black and white movies back in those earlier decades.
