Students have fun with Scavenger Hunts. They try hard to find the correct answer so their team can finish first!
I use relays to review a lot of different subjects in my Algebra 1 classes. This one reviews the typical word problems that are used when studying polynomials: perimeter problems, age problems, consecutive integers problems, and distance problems.
Since this scavenger hunt has word problems, it is set up a little differently. The student worksheet has all the problems on it and students look for the correct answers on the cards.
It includes instructions of how to use the Scavenger Hunt, a worksheet that students use to see the problems and record their answers, and a homework worksheet that reviews polynomial word problems.
