Students love Scavenger Hunts! They get to get up out of their seats and move around the classroom while still doing math.
This scavenger hunt is simplifying square roots. It has some with integers, and others with integers and variables. Some need to be factored in order to simplify.
Instructions for the scavenger hunt, a worksheet to use, and a bonus homework worksheet, with answer key, is also included!
This is simplifying only -- no radical operations. I have a scavenger hunt for radical operations at: Radical Operations Scavenger Hunt
If you want another fun way to review simplifying square roots, try my relay. Students have lots of fun with relays!
