This relay can be used to review solving quadratic equations with Algebra 1 classes. It includes solving by taking square roots, solving by factoring, solving by using the quadratic formula, and solving by competing the square. This one has rational and irrational answers. I have two others -- one for Algebra 1 that has rational answers only, and another for Algebra 2 that has rational, irrational, and complex answers.
An answer sheet and instructions are included.
I use relays to review for lots of subjects. The students think that they are playing a game and try hard to get the correct answers so that their team can "win".

Common Core Standards:
A-REI 4. Solve quadratic equations in one variable.
A-REI 4b. Solve quadratic equations by inspection (e.g., for x2 = 49), taking square roots, completing the square, the quadratic formula, and factoring, as appropriate to the initial form of the equation.
Previous California Standard for Algebra 1:
14.0 Students solve a quadratic equation by factoring or completing the square.
20.0 Students use the quadratic formula to find the roots of a second-degree polynomial and to solve quadratic equations.
