Product Description
This is a PowerPoint written for my Algebra 1 classes. It is a review for solving systems of equations. The template, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" was found on the Internet, and offered for free. Sound affects have been added. The review has 11 questions, including word problems. All the slides can be modified to be customized for your specific classes.

Common Core Standards:
A-REI 6. Solve systems of linear equations exactly and approximately (e.g., with graphs), focusing on pairs of linear equations in two variables.
A-REI 12. Graph the solutions to a linear inequality in two variables as a half-plane (excluding the boundary in the case of a strict inequality), and graph the solution set to a system of linear inequalities in two variables as the intersection of the corresponding half-planes.

Previous CA Standard for Alg 1:
9.0 Students solve a system of two linear equations in two variables algebraically and are able to interpret the answer graphically. Students are able to solve a systems of two linear inequalities in two variable and to sketch the solution sets.

NOTE: Math Type 5.0 and/or Math Type 3.0 were used to create the slides.
