I use Scavenger Hunts to review a lot of different subjects in my classes. This one reviews word problems using combinations and permutations. Since the questions are all words, they are all given on the student worksheet and only the answers are given on the cards that are posted around the room. It's a great review because it is self-correcting -- If the answer they get is not on a card, that answer is incorrect and the student knows to rework the problem.
Students have fun with Scavenger Hunts. They try hard to find the correct answer so they can finish first!
It includes instructions of how to use the Scavenger Hunt, a worksheet that has the questions and that students use to record their answers, and a homework worksheet that reviews the same subject.
