Product Description

Solving Systems of linear equations can be solved either by graphically or algebraically. This is a one day lesson on solving linear system of equations using the addition/subtraction method. When dealing with non-integer coordinates, graphing can be difficult to find the exact solution.

This is a first introduction lesson into solving linear system of equations where the solutions are all integer x, y coordinates of the solution (x, y).

The lesson plan includes notes of examples, independent or group work and an exit pass. This lesson can be completed within a 50 minute - 60 minute class period
