This is a Flipchart file for a Promethean board with 29 warm-ups that I use for my Algebra 1 class during the 3rd quarter. I teach in Virginia, so these skills focus on the Virginia standards of learning. The warm-ups spiral skills that Algebra 1 students need to master in Virginia, including:
Equations, inequalities, evaluating expressions, slope, direct/inverse variation, systems of equations, systems of inequalities, line of best fit, functions, literal equations, interest, statistics, laws of exponents, properties, and beginnings of factoring.
The file includes all answers to the warm-ups, which is located in the notes page.
It also includes 6 warm-up challenges with answers just for fun that I throw in on Fridays and a final benchmark review that I do the day before our quarterly exam.
I use these daily to review skills throughout the year which has helped my students to be successful on their SOL test.
I will eventually load my 1st, 2nd, and 4th quarter reviews when I finish including the answers to those. I hope you enjoy. I will also be posting Pre-Algebra warm-ups for an entire year. I hope this helps save you time.
