Algebra 1 Board Game - The Great Math Adventure

Algebra 1 Board Game - The Great Math Adventure
Product Description
Do you want to make reviewing Algebra 1 more fun with your students? The Great Math Adventure is a board game that assesses the entire year of Algebra 1 Common Core Curriculum. There are 300 question and answer cards along with a PDF file of the game board. Students can play the game chapter by chapter or you can make reviewing for midterms and finals more engaging and fun. Cards vary and students must be able to define, identify, solve, graph, and or explain concepts. Every question has a detailed answer on the back so you don't have to worry about explaining every problem to your students.

Algebra 1 Curriculum
Simplifying expressions, evaluating expressions, writing algebraic expressions, unit conversion, significant digits, precision, algebraic properties, solving equations, solving literal equations, solving inequalities, relations, functions, domain, range, arithmetic sequences, geometric sequences, graphing linear functions, writing equations of linear functions, slope, translating functions, solving systems of equations, graphing systems, linear programming, graphing exponential functions, solving exponential equations, properties of exponents, rational exponents, factoring, polynomial operations, irrational & rational numbers, simplifying radicals, solving quadratics (square root method, factoring, completing the square, quadratic formula), graphing quadratic functions, graphing absolute value functions, line of best fit, scatterplots and correlation, systems of non-linear functions, inverses, graphing piecewise functions, measures of central tendency, box-and-whisker plots, dot plots, skewed & symmetric data distributions, standard deviation, residuals, and marginal & relative frequencies.

The file for the Great Math Adventure is enormous. Please note that you print and put together the game yourself. The game board is on 4 pages and the 300 cards are on 100 different pages. I recommend laminating the cards and board but please do what is best for you.

I am currently working on Pre-Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 cards that can also be used. I am testing out how you like the Algebra 1 cards go first.

Hopefully you and your students love the game! If sales go well then one day I will print the game board and sell it as a hard copy. The game box is not included in the digital file. Thanks so much enjoy!
