This is a puzzle task designed for students who are just learning and need practice factoring trinomials in the form of x^2 + bx + c.
You will out the mini-cards of 24 binomials - all different from (x +1), (x - 1), ... (x - 12). I would print on colored cardstock and cut before hand.
You will then print out the 4 different factoring "mats." Each mat uses all 24 binomials. No binomial will repeat within the mat. After students complete a mat, they should check the answer key and then try another - or rotate the mats at a table.
The mats can be printed on paper or cardstock. I would suggest different colors so it pops!
Answer keys for all 4 mats are included.
