These worksheets are inspired by Pearson Common Core Algebra 1 lesson 1.6, but can be applied to any Algebra 1 class.
As teachers, I think one of our biggest struggles is trying to eliminate excuses and make it possible for every student to get their work done and improve. That issue is what led me to make my Algebra 1 worksheets with YouTube tutorial videos. At the top of every front-to-back worksheet, there is a box with several examples and a QR code. When a student scans the QR code (or types in the YouTube address at the bottom), they are linked to a video featuring a screen shot of the problems in the box! The students can work through the example problems as they watch the video, and then complete the rest of the worksheet themselves.
If you have never used a QR Reader, I would highly encourage you to download one free onto your smartphone, check out my preview file, and see just how quickly and easily your students can have access to their own help!
These are a great solution for students who miss a lot of class due to absences, as well as students who need a little extra help on their own time. You can buy just one lesson or the entire chapter.
This lesson includes two front and back worksheets, each with a QR link to a YouTube video tutorial. PDF answer keys are also included. No matter how you use the worksheets, I know they will be an asset to your classroom!
